VRYBURG – This Women’s Month, MORONGWA celebrates the amazing women of our Community in particular Ms Dineo Khanthuntham, a young woman from Huhudi, Vryburg who recently called on the Community of Naledi to clean up Vryburg town after two weeks of accumulated litter in town, resulting from the temporary close down of the Local Municipality.
Speaking to MORONGWA , Ms Khanthuntham said she was moved by the filth she saw in town recently.
People who heeded her call after she posted on Facebook, assembled at the Stellaland Park near the Indian Centre in the morning of August 9.
” I was not impressed by what I saw in town and I just asked the people on Facebook about coming to clean the town.
I can see all the people who responded positively to the call are here today and I’m absolutely humbled”, Khanthuntham said as the group reassembled at the park.
The volunteers who came from, Huhudi, Colridge, Vryburg town and Extension 25 left the town looking magnificent.
It is true, “Bo mme ba tshwara thipa ka fa bogaleng, and our world is a better place, with our women leading us”.
