MOROCCO – It will be a ramp walk for Banyana Banyana on Sunday as face as they take-on the Botswana Mares who recently lost their leg to the Nigerian Falcons whom Banyana Banyana had cheek clapped 2-1 at the start off of their games on Monday. After the war with the Nigerians, Banyana Banyana had to show the Burundi ladies how the ball is rolled by beating them 3-1 at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Morocco on Thursday.
Burundi were not walk-overs though as they shook the Banyana Banyana Team, 10 minutes by hitting an equaliser off the Thembi Kgatlana’s score. The Equaliser, brought back the ladies who had been a bit complacent over their past victory with Amogelang Masego Motau hitting the net with a superb strike that would make the best jealous. The Banyana Banyana win was netted by Linda Motlhalo who had just come in as a substitute. The SA Queens will face off the Mares of Botswana who received a whooping wallop from the Nigerian Falcons on Thursday. The game which will be the final of the Group C Fixture, will kick off at 2200 on Sunday.
