The 32 SEDA graduates at Klondike recently. These determined DrRSM businesswomen have promised to bring change in the District

VRYBURG – SEDA, in the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District, recently honoured thirty two business women across the District for successfully attending and completing a ten month Coaching Course.
“These businesswomen, came from different sectors and industries. They were selected from the SEDA Database, to be trained and enthuse them to continue to grow in their different enterprises” Mr Manoto, SEDA Manager told MORONGWA . The sectors that were represented included, catering, construction, fashion design, agriculture, business consultancy, office supply and many more.
According to the organiser of the event, this training was both somatic; where attendees had to come physically to the SEDA office as opposed to some of the lessons which had to be conducted online. The Coach who trained the entrepreneurs, Dr Ntando Maseko from Megalife Coaching Academy was praised for equipping these businesswomen with the skills and know how of pivoting their businesses to greater pinnacles.
Several women, one after the other, expressed their gratitude towards the SEDA organisation for the support they have given their businesses and for turning them into the success that they are. One such woman is Ms Lemogang Lehabe,, a former teacher turned businesswoman. Ms Lehabe is the founder of Gae Lodge in Ganyesa, Kagisano Molopo. Ms Lemogang Lehabe said she has grown in leaps and bounds since starting her business. “ SEDA, you promote, you develop, you support all our businesses” Ms Lehabe said. She further praised SEDA for empowering and capacitating women entrepreneurs in the District so that they can celebrate their own personal successes.
Another businesswoman, Ms Kenalemang Lekgare, the founder of Hope to Success, a fashion design and Catering business based in Vryburg, could not wince her words when it came to showering praises on the SEDA team and their hunger to assist those who need help in starting their own businesses. Ms Lekgare narrated her from “rags. To riches” kind of story that has always been driven by the hunger to succeed. She promised her mentors to keep working smarter, as per the training they received to reach the highest peak in her life.
The thirty two women downed their gowns and mortars and were awarded certificates of attendance. They all vowed to turn their businesses into success stories..
Present during this ceremony were different stakeholders such as; the District LED, SEFA, SEDA national, the Local LED and Productivity SA, NYDA, office of the Premier and Rural Development.
