The 2022 Youth Month was characterised by different events in commemoration of the Day of the Aftican Child. At Moeti Primary, the DrRSM Scout organised a Youth Camp that aimed at installing self discipline. At the Huhudi stadium, spectators were served with a bowl filled the best cream of football out of the District. The tournament aimed at raising funds to assist disadvantaged children in the Community. The Naledi Council together with the Mayor clashed in what can be termed secondary school football and netball festival. The events were wrapped up by the Screening of the SARAFINA film at the theatre that was not just for entertainment but characterised by motivating the attendants in rising up to be the change they desire to be in future. The screening was organised by a local Film Company called Campfire Films and was graced by both local SEDA, NYDA and the Naledi LED who called upon the young people in attendance to consider bring champions of the own organisationbs and companies and create employment not just for themselves but for others.
