The MC first Education in the North West province, Viola Motsumi was called in at John Frylinck School not to congratulate them for academic performance but to the ill- discipline that seem to be the norm at the school. During her visit MEC Motsumi adopted the school. The school has since participated in sporting activities and organised extra classes for the leaners.
Scarcity of water has forced many to come up with means of getting water to their homes. This 78 year old man from Huhudi, has built this cart especially to draw water from the nearest stand pipe to his home.

The Honourable Speaker of Naledi, Cllr. Pitso Gulane, recently obtained an Honours Degree in Sustainable Agriculture from the University of Free State. Prior to becoming a Councillor, Cllr. Gulane was working as an Extension Officer at the Department of Agriculture. He also hold a Diploma in Agriculture (Taung Agricultural College) and a Degree in Agriculture.
